Free Irish Music

I have published the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast since 2005. I started the Celtic Music Magazine in 2000. That means I have given away free Irish music for fourteen years. I give away music because of faith. I believe.

I believe that if you love Irish music, then you will buy Irish music. That's why I created a whole bunch of websites and Celtic resources designed to not just give away free Irish music, but to encourage Irish music fans to share the music, and ultimately buy it.

The Celtic Music Magazine has a whole page full of free Celtic MP3s. There are over 150 episodes of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. You can download each and every one of those shows for free. That's over 200 hours of free Irish music (and Celtic music, in general).

A few days ago, I got an email from a man raving about my Celtic podcast. He told me had to cut back. He already bought ten albums last month by some of the bands he found through the podcast. Two were by bands in Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. He wasn't even from North Alabama, but through my podcast he found some great Irish music. He found it free. And he bought it.

Now I live in Birmingham. And because I believe SO much in free Irish music, and I support it. I decided to giveaway an album I released a few years back. You can download it through our St Patrick's Day Parade in 5 Points webpage. It is 100% free and features some of my favorite Irish songs fused with my American Celtic culture.

Download it. Listen. Smile. And then share the album with your friends.

Marc Gunn lives in Birmingham, Alabama. Find out more about him through his website and the Celtic Music CD Store. Find our free Irish music here.
